  • 2024: Successful Series A Investment

    An important milestone in Valuedesk’s development: with the successful closing of our Series A funding round, we’ve laid the foundation for the next growth phase. This investment enables us to further enhance our platform, drive new technologies forward, and strengthen our market position—so we can support companies even more effectively in the future.

  • 2023: Development of Our Vision

    We are working on our vision to empower all companies to unlock their full potential. In addition to growing the team and evolving our product, we are striving to make Valuedesk available to businesses throughout Europe.

  • 2021: Opening of Our Office at Alten Markt

    On November 11, 2021, the time has finally come: our new offices will be officially inaugurated. Guests include Eduard R. Doerrenberg (Dr. Wolff Group), Dr. Daniel Holz (Google), and Dominik Groß (Founders Foundation), along with many other top decision‑makers from the region.

  • 2021: Relocation to Top Address at Alten Markt

    The year 2021 is special for us in several ways. We are able to attract new talent for our team at an incredible pace. Moreover, we are seizing the unique opportunity to move into an elaborately renovated office space at one of the most historic locations in Bielefeld.

  • 2020: Largest Seed Financing in OWL

    To further accelerate growth and product development, Valuedesk raises capital from the renowned Munich investor UVC Partners, the venture‑capital arm of UnternehmerTUM. In addition to UVC, prominent business angels such as Dr. Daniel Holz (former CEO of SAP Germany and Vice President at Google Cloud) and Sascha Konietzke (founder of Contentful) are participating.

  • 2019: Further Development of the Software

    Savings are not just a procurement topic. They impact the entire company. In collaboration with our customers, the Valuedesk software evolves into an enterprise‑wide, collaborative solution. (Photo: Our first “Lever Workshop.” Together we unlock millions in new savings potentials.)

  • 2018: New Office and International Major Clients

    The team continues to grow and leaves the Founders Foundation premises. It first relocates to the offices of our friends at the AI‑Startup Semalytix. With our next major clients such as Dr. Oetker and Körber, we are ready for our very own office in the Pioneers Club.

  • 2017: Founding, Incubator, and First Customers

    The ValueCommunity is launched to develop the product together with industry partners according to customer requirements. In April 2017, Torsten, Ingo, and Dennis found Valuedesk GmbH, based in Bielefeld. At the same time, they begin product development in the Founders Foundation incubator. The first employees join the founding team, and the first customers follow.

  • 2016: Finding the Founders

    Torsten participates in a pitch event with his idea and wins. The prize is participation in the Startup School of the Founders Foundation, a subsidiary of the Bertelsmann Stiftung, in Bielefeld. There, Torsten meets the two mathematicians and future co‑founders Dennis and Ingo. The program director of the Startup School and leading entrepreneurship expert from ESADE Business School, Prof. Dr. Jan Brinckmann, is enthusiastic about Valuedesk and becomes the first business angel.

  • 2016: The Idea

    After seven successful years as CPO of the Nolte Group, Torsten, at 46 and a father of two, gave up his secure position to pursue his own business idea and lead strategic procurement into the digital future.
