From CPO to start-up founder

Anyone managing or helping to shape companies today needs clarity above all else. Not about the next crisis, because that will come anyway. But about how we will deal with it in order to secure our future. Solutions emerge where people act courageously, creatively and, above all, consistently. And this is exactly what our mission at Valuedesk reflects:
“Empowering organizations to harness the full potential of their own employees.”
In future, it will no longer be enough to simply react to changes. Companies need to know their potential and use it proactively. They need people who want to shape things and structures that make this possible.
The ValueInsider is the launch of a new format that stands for exactly that. This is the first issue and the start of a series that will be published twice a year from now on. Our aim is not to complain about problems, but to find real solutions and show what is possible if you have the courage to rethink performance.
It is no coincidence that we are focusing on purchasing in this issue. Valuedesk was created there and we know from experience that enormous leverage can be achieved in procurement in particular. The challenges there are complex and the responsibility enormous, but this is precisely why procurement is the ideal starting point for real impact. Today, we work far beyond procurement, but it remains a central player when it comes to performance.
The cover story about our CEO and CO-Founder Torsten R. Bendlin combines what drives us: Attitude, the will to change and the courage to do things differently. And this attitude runs through the entire magazine. We don't want to explain why transformation is difficult. We want to show how it can succeed.
With this in mind, welcome to the first issue. We wish you new perspectives, helpful insights and honest impulses. And above all: a desire for implementation! Your Valuedesk team
