CEO & Co-Founder
Performance Management is not an end in itself. It is a way to make companies more sustainable and successful — while putting people at the center.
Torsten is founder and CEO of Valuedesk — and a driver of modern performance management. For him, it’s no longer just about making individual processes more efficient. It’s about focusing on effectiveness, empowering employees to co‑shape change, and strategically aligning corporate resources toward the right goals. Valuedesk was born from exactly this ambition: as a platform for holistic performance management that helps companies unlock their full potential and achieve sustainable value creation.
Torsten knows from personal experience what rigid structural change feels like. For many years, he worked in procurement, most recently in a senior role, in systems where efficiency was often placed above effectiveness. His courage to change led him into self‑employment: as a single father, he left his permanent position at 46 to pursue his vision. As Valuedesk’s founder, Torsten not only leads the company but also embodies, through his own example, what he aims to enable for others with his platform: effectiveness instead of token gestures, participation instead of top‑down mandates.
VP Sales
Performance Management is simple: a smart goal, executed with discipline. But the real challenge, as so often, lies in the details.
As Vice President Sales, Katharina is responsible for new‑client and partner management at Valuedesk. Her mission: to help mid‑market and enterprise companies unlock their full performance. In economically demanding times, she sees opportunities for companies that now question the status quo, pursue their goals with discipline, and pull together.
Katharina’s own journey is a prime example of unwavering goal orientation. She began her career in performance controlling at Siemens before moving into sales. Her standard was the same: measurable results and measurable progress. In her personal life, the theme runs like a thread through everything she does—whether on the racing bike, climbing mountains, or riding dressage: when others take a break, she steps on the gas.
Operations Management
Julia merges her background in the service industry and her business studies perfectly: she oversees internal processes, event management, and organizational workflows within the company. All threads converge through her—she keeps structures lean, processes efficient, and teams on course. Her strong service mindset, shaped by her hospitality experience, shines through in her daily work: Julia thinks solution‑oriented, acts proactively, and ensures both internal and external stakeholders are optimally supported.
This makes her a key driver of our own performance management: her clear organization, process optimization, and service excellence lay the foundation for measurable performance gains and lasting success.
CFO
Performance Management is facts and figures — data‑driven, objective, and decision‑relevant. It enables targeted steering for growth, profitability, and strategic value.
Irène, as CFO at Valuedesk, is responsible for finance, HR, and legal. With over 20 years of experience in financial management — including banking; international finance roles at Henkel in Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe; as CFO in startups; and as a supervisory board member — she brings extensive expertise and strategic foresight to our company.
As CFO, she combines solid financial structures with a clear growth strategy. She stands for business management that not only safeguards finances but actively creates corporate value. What drives her, both personally and professionally, is looking ahead and that perfect feeling when a team achieves success together.
VP Product & Customer Success
It drives me anew each day to provide companies and organizations with the best product in the world and the finest personal support.
Jan Albrecht is Vice President Product & Customer Success and a member of Valuedesk’s Executive Board. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic advancement of the product portfolio and the establishment of scalable customer‑success structures. With many years of experience in business development, marketing, and customer management, he brings a holistic perspective to product innovation and customer success.
His career began in 2010 at Sportfive, an international sports‑rights marketer, in the areas of TV and media rights as well as digital and social media. There, he developed numerous innovative concepts for marketing sports rights that are now integral to many Bundesliga clubs’ strategies. He then held leadership positions at FACELIFT, a social‑media management platform, and at SYZYGY Media, an online‑marketing agency. Since 2018, Jan has been part of Valuedesk and has contributed significantly to the company’s growth—as Head of Customer Management & Performance and as Head of Sales. In his current position, he focuses on the integration of product development and customer engagement to create sustainable value for clients together with his teams. His goal is to establish Valuedesk as the leading platform for value management and thus drive digital transformation in the mid‑market.
